On October 26, 2013 Lindsay Oostman & Jack Gartner were married! Lindsay & Jack and I first met each other at Starbucks in 2006. They were a part of a small group of friends and started out as just good friends. Throughout the years despite moving to other cities, having other significant others and life’s general distractions they connected in 2009. After finding out that they were both “single” they spend the entire night just talking and catching up with each other and after a few more dates they were inseparable!
When I first met Lindsay & Jack I really enjoyed talking and getting to know them immensely. We had the best time doing their engagement session at Starbucks (something I haven’t done before). I loved the fact that we took the pictures at a place that was meaningful to them. Great idea!
Their wedding was amazing! The ceremony took place at St. Paul Lutheran and then we headed over to the Odyssey County Club in Tinley Park. The weather held out just long enough for us to take some great group shots and then some ones of Lindsay & Jack. It was chilly but they were troppers and game for anything. The sky full of clouds and the perfect lighting made for some wonderful images that I hope they treasure forever.
I want to thank Lindsay & Jack for allowing me to capture their wedding day and for being so wonderful to work with. They are both such nice people and seem so perfect for each other. It was such a great, relaxed and fun day. I wish both of them all the best in their new role as husband and wife!
