On December 18th, 2010 Sara Maly & Andrew Lisy were married! It was a cold but beautiful sunny winter day! We started at the houses in Hinsdale. I was with the bride and my fabulous second shooter, Laura Meyer, was with the guys! We got some great getting ready shots. Then we were off to the church just down the street. They were married at St. Vincent Ferrer Church in River Forsest and it was a gorgeous church!! The ceremony was great and afterwards we headed to Oak Brook for some fun outside shots in the snow under a tree that was decorated with tons of Christmas lights. After braving the cold for just a few minutes we headed over to the Hinsdale Golf Club for cocktail hour and the reception. It is such a cool place with so much character!! I spent some time getting shots of Sara & Andrew by the fireplace and then they got to enjoy cocktail hour. The reception was just beautiful. I loved their cake and the entire look of the room…so classy!! They had a great live band which I always love as well. There is something about live music that just makes people celebrate more I think. All in all it was a great wedding with such nice people and a great finish to my 2010 season! Sara & Andrew I wish you all the best in your new life together. You both are such sweet people and so easy to work with! Congratulations!!! Here are some of the highlights of the day!
